I am writing in support of the above planning application, submitted by Pewsey Community Land Trust for former Police Station, 8 Market Place, Pewsey, SN9 5AD.
Planning Application Update
The Pewsey Community Land Trust Directors and Advisory Group met earlier this month to review progress on our planning application and the next steps for the project.
Building Something for the Future of Pewsey
The Pewsey Community Land Trust was created with a simple ambition: to help provide affordable housing for local people and invest in facilities that benefit the wider community.
The final updated scheme was submitted to Wiltshire Council ealier in the summer.
Your Support Can Make a Difference
Our planning application is now at an important stage and we are encouraging local residents, community groups and organisations to make their voices heard.
It has been a while since our last posting and it has been a frustrating time with the 8 week planning application now dragging on to its 9th month! PCLT are making progress, albeit slowly, with hundreds of hours and a not insignificant amount of funds invested.
It has been some time since we have had anything to report. The planning process has taken far, far longer than we had hoped and is, we believe, is drawing to a conclusion. The volunteers at the CLT have invested hundreds of hours over several years to get to this point with the Police House and Station site. Now we are asking you, the members, to participate by helping us to raise the funds for the purchase and initial costs.
The planning application for 8 Market Place, Pewsey is still progressing, albeit much slower than we would wish, due to a number of variables out of the control of the CLT, that are being addressed. At the time of writing, we are hopeful of resolution by June.
The planning application for 8 Market Place, Pewsey is well underway and secured the support of Pewsey PC at the planning meeting on March 27th. We would like to thank Pewsey PC for their continued support of this project through its various phases. We have had some communications during the process and hope for a positive outcome after so much effort.
